HMS Celebrated Our 19th Anniversary by Giving Back

To celebrate our 19 years in business and live into our mission of protecting vulnerable populations, HMS donated $1,900 to the nonprofit Connecting Link, Inc. The donation supported individuals in crisis and assisted residents of North Central West Virginia in becoming more self-sufficient. HMS’ contribution is a combined cash and in-kind donation: a $1,000 check plus $900 worth of car seats, diapers and wipes.

HMS Expanded Our Leadership Team

Mark Koepke, Business Development Director

HMS welcomed Mark Koepke as its new business development director. Koepke, in collaboration with HMS’ leadership team, is responsible for developing initiatives to achieve the company’s long-term growth goals. Koepke’s business development knowledge coupled with his years of health policy experience has made him the ideal fit at HMS.

Ann Kenny, Chief Growth Officer

HMS began the new year with a new chief growth officer: Ann Kenny, MPH, BSN, RN. Kenny focuses on business development primarily at CMS but also in other federal agencies and bridges the gap between HMS’ various departments and capabilities. Kenny’s 30+ years of management experience in the healthcare field and extensive business development skills have molded her into the effective leader she is today at HMS. In November, Kenny was named a 2022 FedHealthIT100 Award Recipient by a panel of current and former federal and industry leaders from across the federal health IT sector. The award honors individuals who are making an impact, going above and beyond, driving innovation and positive outcomes, challenging conventional wisdom, and giving back to the larger community.

Looking Ahead

As rewarding as 2021 has been, HMS is eager to continue serving state and federal agencies, energized about finding new opportunities to expand and deepen our value, and dedicated to furthering our work to protect vulnerable populations in 2022.
